Description

The Clipcomm CP-100 is a VoIP hard phone that supports H.323, SIP and MEGACO. We use the SIP version of the phone.

Installation

The installation is pretty much straight forward. Just set the server and the registrar. No not use the NAT traversal features, they are not neccessary and may cause problems depending on your NAT configuration.

Plug and play for this device is not available, you must configure the device manually.

We were using firmware version 1.2.20 (051215).

Supported Features

The phone does not support the answer-after header, therefore paging with phone does not work. It also does not support the Alert-Info header, therefore the indication of the ring tone also does not work.

It does show messages-waiting, but pressing the message retrieval button does not work. You must dial *97 to get your message.
