Counterpath
From Pbxnsip Wiki
The eyeBeam is a softphone which is available from [www.counterpath.com]. It supports a lot of features like video and instant messaging. We used version eyeBeam 1.1 3010n stamp 19039.
Configuration
After starting up, a right-click opens the settings menu of the phone. Select add new account and fill in the account information. If you dont have DNS set up, you need to use the outbound proxy so that you find the PBX.
In the Firewall/NAT settings, set the "Send internal IP" to always. You can also turn ICE off because the PBX does not support ICE. Presence is also not supported yet by the PBX, and the Xten-proprietary protocol xtunnels is also not necessary. In the Advanced settings, turn off sending SIP keep alives and SIP rport detection.
Please notice that the eyeBeam offers a lot of options to get the phone working without a session border controller or and other NAT support. However, because the PBX does support this already, we recommend not to turn those features on. The best way to operate a device is to use the standard settings.
Please note that eyeBeam and Xlite have problems with crypto attributes in SDP (RFC4568). If you turn off "offer SDES" it might make a difference.
