HTTP
Bug: When an http session timed out, the PBX removes it from memory. There were cases when this could cause a crash, especially when sending CDR reports at midnight or when sending out a license warning. The new code avoids the situation so that these kinds of problems should not occur any more.
Feature: We started supporting CSTA through SOAP. Though in this version quite limited (only MakeCall and ClearCall), the CSTA support has been kicked off. The plan is to add more methods piece by piece.
Auto Attendant
Feature: The auto attendant now may have a descriptive name.
Conference
Feature: Scheduled conferences can now automatically be recorded. The new PBX supports a mode that writes the performance-friendly way to the file system, so that also long conferences can be recorded without having to worry about the PBX performance. Along with feature, we made the conferencing scheduling easier and added a link for downloading a calendar event in such tools as Microsoft Outlook.
Dial Plan
Feature: We added more logging to be able to track dial-plan related problem down in an easier way.
Paging
Feature: Paging is now always one way, even if there is only one participant in the paging group. This is more consistent with the paging behavior. For two-way conversations, the intercom feature is available.
Teach Mode
Bug: There was a problem with the teach mode, which has been fixed in 2.1.5. Teach mode should now work properly again.
Extended Buttons
Feature: For software-based extension boards it makes sense to include more information in the status for an extension. The PBX now offers a new mode that sends also the number of messages, DND status and more information about the extension.
