The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) consists of several standards and conventions. The PBX was implemented with the intention to make interoperability as simple as possible. This page describes the speficics of the pbxnsip SIP implementation.

  • When an extension uses the redial star code or receives a attended transfer, it needs to know which number it is connected to. The solution to this problem is described in Indicating Change of Caller-ID.
